Brienne is passionate about voice. The instrument (larynx) in our necks that is so varied, mysterious and powerful, and as unique as a fingerprint for each and every one of us! She has been interested in voice since she realized there was actually a way to get training and help people.
Brienne has worked with thousands of people to rehabilitate and heal their vocal injuries, including all types of professional voice users, Broadway actors, and singers. She has elevated her knowledge of the voice, it’s capabilities to empower people to access and harness their vocal potential! For over 12 years, she has been certified and licensed as a Speech Pathologist with specialty training in voice after attending The University of Iowa, one of the highest-rated graduate programs in the country.
She has been extremely fortunate to receive in-depth training and mentorship at some of the top voice clinics in the world, including Emory Voice Center and Vanderbilt Voice Clinic. Brienne has had the great pleasure of being an invited speaker at national and state conferences, given numerous education seminars, published research in peer-reviewed Journal of Voice, contributed chapters in two textbooks on voice disorders and treatment; taught graduate-level courses at Belmont University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Brienne especially loves educating and interacting with others by giving outreach talks to choirs, schools, choral conductors, girls and ladies rock camps, actors, and singers. She has been featured on WPR and was thrilled to provide vocal health education to trainers at one of the largest electronic medical record companies in the country, EPIC.
